I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the upside, the room was spacious and well-equipped, complete with extra toiletries upon request. However, the lack of a shower, only a bathtub, was a downside. The location was excellent, being near Burgundy Street in the French Quarter, and next to Louis Armstrong Park, which hosted a free music fest during my stay.
The Kermit Ruffins Suite was perfect and so cute, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. The location is quiet and safe, just a brief walk from the French Quarter, offering a fantastic base for exploring the area. The dining experience was delightful, especially sitting outdoors overlooking the lovely courtyard. However, the loudness of Bourbon Street can be a bit overwhelming at times.
